Ramallah, August 29 (Petra) – Four Palestinians were injured on Saturday in separate attacks by illegal Israeli settlers and occupation forces in the occupied West Bank, including a 15-year-old boy who was wounded during a raid on the al-Amari refugee camp in al-Bireh.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a press release that its crews treated two Palestinians for gunshot wounds. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the back, while a young man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Separately, two Palestinian women were injured in an attack by illegal settlers in the town of Silwad, in the central occupied West Bank.
The Silwad Municipal Council said armed settlers attacked two sisters, aged 75 and 65, while they were picking figs on their land. The settlers severely beat the women, leaving them with bruises and cuts.
